Lead Data Entry Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and supervise daily data entry activities for long-term care (LTC) pharmacy processing.

• Accurately input and confirm patient demographic, insurance, and prescription details.

• Conduct reviews and audits of data entries to identify errors, inconsistencies, and ensure compliance with LTC standards.

• Provide training and mentorship to junior data entry technicians regarding workflows and best practices.

• Collaborate with pharmacists, billing, and clinical staff to address data discrepancies.

• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management systems.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company data privacy guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in LTC pharmacy, healthcare data entry, or a pharmacy technician position is required.

• In-depth understanding of long-term care pharmacy operations and insurance billing procedures.

• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is preferred.

• Proficient in pharmacy management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively guide a team.

• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy practices.
