Native Spanish AI Data Annotator – AI Scam Detection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Review SMS and email messages within spreadsheets and categorize each message according to predefined annotation guidelines.

• Accurately and consistently apply labels while upholding high quality standards.

• Process around 2,500 messages daily, achieving both productivity and quality objectives.

• Recognize ambiguous or edge-case examples and escalate them as needed.

• Engage in regular team calibration sessions and peer reviews, dedicating approximately 10% of working hours to this activity.

• Adhere to project documentation, workflows, and data handling protocols.

• Proactively communicate with the project team regarding inquiries, issues, or clarifications on guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Spanish (both spoken and written).

• Exceptional command of the English language.

• Ability to work within EMEA or USA time zones.

• Strong reading comprehension and familiarity with colloquial language, slang, abbreviations, and regional expressions.

• Keen attention to detail with the capability to make precise, consistent decisions based on comprehensive guidelines.

• Comfortable handling large amounts of repetitive data while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

• Ability to meet deadlines and fulfill daily productivity goals.

• Willingness to review content that may involve scam attempts, offensive language, profanity, or other sensitive subjects.

• Experience with spreadsheet applications.

• Previous experience in data annotation, content moderation, data labeling, quality assurance, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Experience in AI or machine learning data annotation projects is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to recognize patterns and identify inconsistencies in data.

• Excellent communication skills with a readiness to collaborate within an international remote team.

• Capability to work independently while adhering to detailed instructions.

• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer suitable for remote work.
