Lead Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Manage a cloud data warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake or similar), overseeing roles/permissions, performance optimization, security measures, and cost management.

• Employ Git for version control and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Assist in designing scalable, dependable, and secure data architectures and models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5 years of experience in a data engineering or data operations role.

• 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• 5 years of professional SQL development experience.

• 5 years of experience in professional Python development, including code quality and testing practices.

• 5 years of experience using version control throughout the development lifecycle.

• 5 years of experience with a cloud data warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery).

• 5 years of experience with ETL tools, relational database platforms, and Unix-based command-line tools.
