Lead Customer Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service and waste management support to our clients.

• Address inquiries, process orders, draft correspondence, and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Provide exceptional assistance to both internal and external clients through phone, email, or face-to-face interactions.

• Offer indirect supervision to junior staff members while providing advanced support for complex issues.

• Create effective communication channels to address customer inquiries efficiently.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.

• Oversee office functions such as data entry, clerical tasks, records management, and report preparation.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, manage adjustments, and oversee invoicing and collections.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in a customer-facing role that addresses customer needs, ideally in waste disposal, chemistry, or a related field.

• Comprehensive knowledge to mentor Senior Customer Support Specialists regarding Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Laws and Regulations.

• Familiarity with advanced accounting processes.

• Skill in identifying trends and patterns in data.

• Capability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple assignments concurrently.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF writer.

• Competence in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documentation, technical procedures, and government regulations.
