This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Create innovative and refined design solutions across various formats including brand identity, editorial, digital, and campaigns.
• Collaborate on stunning designs that span brand, digital, editorial, and campaign projects.
• Transform client briefs into vibrant concepts with meticulous attention to detail.
• Convert briefs into strategic, visually engaging results.
• Support brand discovery and positioning efforts alongside strategists.
• Grasp the rationale behind each brief; ask questions and nurture curiosity.
• Expand creative horizons and enhance outputs in partnership with the Creative Director.
• Maintain exceptional quality standards across all deliverables.
• Participate in daily virtual meetings, critiques, and brainstorming sessions during overlapping hours.
• Be engaged and proactive during our overlap period, which provides a few valuable hours between South Africa and Australia EST.
• Present your work effectively and persuasively to both internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate using platforms such as MS Teams, WipList, Miro, and Google Drive.
• Manage your time effectively, monitor progress, and keep all parties informed.
• Share inspiration, ideas, and constructive feedback both asynchronously and in real time.
• Advocate for the company’s creative values and contribute positively to studio culture.
• Take responsibility for project timelines, priorities, and task completion.
• Adhere to our studio protocols for naming, filing, and maintaining organization.
• Communicate progress, risks, or resource needs proactively to the Studio Manager.
• Accurately track time and milestones using WipList.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
• Keep design files organized and version-controlled in accordance with studio standards.
• Prepare production-ready artwork suitable for both print and digital formats.
• Work proficiently in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.
• Efficiently apply feedback and ensure digital outputs comply with performance and accessibility criteria.
• You will be encouraged to participate in design events (virtually!) to enrich your creative viewpoint.
• You will be part of a thoughtful and talented team that values mutual respect.
• You will help sustain our connected culture by engaging on Teams or Slack, participating in virtual gatherings, and sharing your achievements.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

• A collaborative attitude and receptiveness to feedback.
