Lead Collector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Support management in assessing delinquency rates for the loan portfolio and maintenance fee accounts.

• Track team performance through audits, identify areas for improvement, and offer constructive feedback.

• Supervise the quality assurance of collections staff to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Reach out to delinquent owners via phone and mail to recover outstanding payments.

• Explain company policies and procedures in conjunction with collection strategies and practices.

• Aid collections staff with daily operations and procedures.

• Assist management with owner inquiries and complaints.

• Provide continuous training and support, including bi-annual FDCPA certification for collections personnel.

• Contribute to coaching and development, facilitate team-building activities, recognize top performers, and address team issues or conflicts.

• Offer supervisory support during periods of absence.

• Assist with special projects as requested by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• At least 3 years of experience in collections or a related field (preferred).

• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience (preferred).

• Comprehensive understanding of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA).
