Lead Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Document the current business operations, workflows, and technical practices across applications and infrastructure.

• Evaluate existing processes against established industry and IT best practices, pinpointing areas for enhancement.

• Create Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to direct the advancement of systems, processes, and operational maturity.

• Act as a senior member of a cross-functional team, offering expert insights into the business implications of introducing new or improved systems.

• Assist in the complete lifecycle of IT initiatives, from requirements gathering and design through to implementation and ongoing support.

• Work together with stakeholders to ensure that system solutions are in line with organizational objectives, compliance mandates, and operational necessities.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Secret clearance is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business or technical discipline.

• Agile certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferably with an Agile emphasis), or an equivalent qualification.

• At least five (5) years of pertinent experience in business systems analysis or related IT roles.
