Lead BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Burundi.

📋 Description

• Support small business insurance and acquisition partners through data analysis and reporting.

• Develop and manage datamarts utilizing ETLs.

• Engage with business customers on a daily basis.

• Act as a subject matter expert for the Data Governance team, IT partners, and Progressive Home.

• Conduct business-specific data analyses, create new multidimensional cubes, and maintain existing ones to facilitate decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Business Management).

• At least 2 years of experience in designing, developing, programming, and supporting software applications.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.

• Expertise in the Microsoft BI stack, including SSIS and T-SQL querying for designing and implementing ETLs and Datamarts.

• Proficient in Tableau or comparable reporting tools.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing and modeling, including the maintenance and creation of Multidimensional Cubes.

• Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.

• Skills in scripting languages such as C# and/or Python to support complex ETL structures and some application development.
