This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +12 more states.
• Assist in pre-sales solution development by evaluating data feasibility and designing analytic strategies.
• Conduct exploratory analysis and convert clients’ research and business inquiries into actionable insights.
• Utilize SQL to query medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, and chargemaster data.
• Identify target populations and apply both inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Assess longitudinal patient journeys and validate analytical results through univariate analysis, distributions, trends, and data investigations.
• Undertake pre-sale feasibility assessments to help clients generate real-world evidence.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Sales and Data Delivery teams.
• Develop operational best practices to ensure timely, accurate, and seamless data delivery.
• Create and communicate technical, clinical, operational, and business requirements.
• Simplify analytical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives in internal documentation, analytics automation, AI integration, and process enhancements.
• Provide thought leadership that highlights HealthVerity’s strategic contributions to real-world evidence.
• Utilize AI to optimize workflows and enhance internal efficiency.
• Assume full ownership of pre-sale data solution development.
• Validate outputs, recognize risks, and evaluate analytical assumptions.
• Advanced degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Informatics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a consultative, client-facing capacity.
• At least 6 years of experience using SQL and programming with large relational databases that involve interoperably-linked, patient-level data on a large scale.
• Proficient understanding of various healthcare data types, including claims, EMR, commercial laboratories, and social determinants data.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as ICD, CPT, HCPCS, NDC, CVX, LOINC, NUCC, and NPPES.
• Experience in evaluating suitable data and implementing research methodologies.
• Proven ability to define populations of interest, apply inclusion and exclusion criteria, and validate analytical results.
• Background in applying real-world data to healthcare and life sciences research scenarios.
• Proficient with healthcare analytics tools such as SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to HealthVerity HQ in Philadelphia, PA.
