This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +12 more states.
• Act as the main contact for one or more HealthVerity clients, delivering expert post-sale support across Real-World Data (RWD) use cases.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with stakeholders in data, analytics, and research departments.
• Address client data inquiries, prioritize issues, and ensure they are resolved effectively.
• Share insights, updates, and best practices to enhance client value derived from HealthVerity data assets.
• Convert complex requirements and methodologies into actionable advice for cross-functional client stakeholders.
• Facilitate client training sessions, standardize analytic guidance, and document post-sale use-case support.
• Track client pipelines, research activities, and emerging use cases; direct expansion signals to the Sales team.
• Create and maintain client-specific training materials, documentation, and reference guides.
• Utilize SQL or Python to query medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, and chargemaster data for cohort identification and inquiry support.
• Collaborate with Sales and data delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of data licensing projects.
• Guide junior team members and participate in initiatives for improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
• Lead data solution projects from start to finish and ensure their successful completion.
• Allocate 5–10% of working hours to team and personal development.
• A graduate degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Informatics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct client-facing experience in healthcare analytics, life sciences, technology, or biotechnology, with a focus on managing and enhancing client relationships.
• Proficient understanding of various healthcare data types, including open/closed claims, inpatient/ambulatory EMR, commercial laboratories, and social determinants.
• Familiarity with codified healthcare data standards such as ICD, CPT, HCPCS, CVX, LOINC, NUCC, and NPPES.
• Skilled in SQL or Python and adept at programming with large relational databases utilizing interoperably linked, patient-level data at scale.
• Experience in assessing suitable data for specific purposes and implementing research protocols.
• Strong presentation and communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Background in applying real-world data to healthcare and life sciences research issues and use cases, including RWE/epidemiology, HEOR, R&D, commercial, or public health.
• Direct experience collaborating with technology or life science organizations.
• Capacity to juggle multiple concurrent projects with meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to HealthVerity's headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
