This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.
• Collaborate with HR leaders and specialized HR teams to establish and execute HRIS solutions.
• Provide guidance to leaders on suggested strategies and validate requirements.
• Configure, test, validate, document, and implement changes in Workday across Core HCM, Talent, Talent Acquisition and Recruiting, business processes, reporting, and security.
• Manage system enhancements from the planning stage through to implementation.
• Oversee recurring annual processes, including year-end performance reviews and calibration.
• Act as a senior contact for intricate Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through audits and validation checks.
• Support data governance, security, privacy, compliance, and audit standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configuration, design decisions, processes, testing, and support practices.
• Develop, configure, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions, automation, and intelligent workflows.
• Identify areas for enhancing HR processes and improving employee experiences.
• Assess new AI capabilities, tools, and features within Workday.
• Contribute to strategic planning and discussions regarding future technology directions.
• Provide training, mentorship, peer review, and troubleshooting assistance to junior analysts.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for the HRIS team and advocate for consistent practices.
• Plan and execute assigned projects, enhancements, releases, and related activities.
• Define project scope, timelines, risks, key requirements, and testing necessities.
• Evaluate Workday releases and new functionalities.
• Coordinate stakeholders and testers effectively.
• Lead small project teams as required.
• Communicate updates, risks, and decisions clearly.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over seven years of relevant HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise application experience.
• Extensive hands-on Workday configuration and support experience across various functional areas, including Talent and Talent Acquisition or Recruiting.
• Proficient in Workday reporting, calculated fields, condition rules, security concepts, testing, and release management.
• Experience in independently resolving complex issues without standard solutions or documented processes.
• Proven experience managing assigned projects or project activities from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with HR processes and terminology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, advisory, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to work independently in a dynamic, global environment with a keen attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Quick learner with a strong technical curiosity.
• Ability to apply AI in a responsible and secure manner.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with AI, AI agents, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions.
• Preferred: Workday certifications.
• Preferred: experience in supporting additional Workday areas such as Advanced Compensation, Benefits, or Integrations.
• Preferred: experience working with global organizations.
• Preferred: experience with mergers and acquisitions.
• Preferred: experience with Power BI or HR analytics.
