This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Collaborate with HR leaders and specialized HR teams to establish recommended solutions, verify requirements, and implement Workday solutions.
• Configure, test, validate, document, and execute Workday modifications across Core HCM, Talent, Talent Acquisition and Recruiting, business processes, reporting, and security.
• Manage system enhancements from the planning phase through to implementation.
• Take ownership of recurring annual processes, such as year-end performance reviews and calibration.
• Act as a senior point of contact for intricate Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through auditing and validation activities.
• Support data governance, security, privacy, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date configuration, design, process, testing, and support documentation.
• Develop, configure, test, and implement AI-enabled solutions, automation, and intelligent workflows.
• Identify areas for enhancement in HR processes and employee experiences.
• Assess new AI capabilities, tools, and Workday functionalities.
• Contribute to strategic planning and discussions regarding future technology direction.
• Offer training, mentoring, peer review, and troubleshooting assistance to less experienced analysts.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for the HRIS team, promoting consistent practices.
• Plan and deliver assigned projects, enhancements, releases, and project-related activities.
• Define project scope, timelines, risks, requirements, and testing necessities.
• Evaluate Workday releases and new features.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and testers, lead small project teams as necessary, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions.
• Report directly to the Director of HRIS.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over seven years of relevant HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise application experience.
• Extensive hands-on Workday configuration and support experience across various functional areas, including Talent and Talent Acquisition or Recruiting.
• Proficient in Workday reporting, calculated fields, condition rules, security concepts, testing, and release management.
• Experience in independently resolving complex issues where no standard solution or documented process is available.
• Experience in managing assigned projects or project activities from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with HR processes and terminology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, advisory, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment with a keen attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Quick learner with a strong technical curiosity.
• Ability to apply AI responsibly and securely.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with AI, AI agents, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions.
• Preferred: Workday certifications.
• Preferred: experience in supporting Advanced Compensation, Benefits, or Integrations.
• Preferred: experience in supporting global organizations.
• Preferred: experience with mergers and acquisitions.
• Preferred: experience with Power BI or HR analytics.
