This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Create, execute, and sustain sophisticated analytical models utilizing machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
• Leverage descriptive analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large and intricate datasets, employing Tableau dashboards and reports as needed.
• Conduct analysis at the customer, product, and transaction levels within retail/CPG datasets.
• Aid in the design and deployment of LLM-based embedding-powered solutions, including summarization and classification.
• Develop and provide support for simulation applications when required.
• Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute throughout the solution development process.
• Write optimized SQL queries (preferably using Google BigQuery) and construct data transformation workflows in Python.
• Ensure data quality, harmonization, and consistency across all analytical initiatives.
• Regularly assess and enhance existing analytics methodologies and models to boost accuracy and performance.
• Remain informed about industry advancements in machine learning and AI, contributing to team innovation.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a similar field.
• 4–6 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
• Proficiency in SQL (Google BigQuery preferred) and Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
• Familiarity with the Retail/CPG/Tech industries, and experience handling product, transaction, and customer-level data.
• Excellent data structuring and analytical problem-solving abilities, complemented by an inquisitive mindset.
