This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop the fundamental architecture for an enterprise workflow automation platform.
• Independently make key technical decisions regarding the stack, architectural patterns, and implementation.
• Create resilient APIs, integrations, and workflow engines that can adapt to various enterprise needs.
• Deploy solutions both virtually and on-site within customer organizations across the United States.
• Conduct discovery sessions to gain insight into workflows and requirements.
• Quickly prototype and develop custom solutions tailored for each enterprise.
• Iteratively incorporate AI capabilities to enhance automation and deliver value.
• Serve as the technical representative of the company during customer interactions.
• Work independently with minimal oversight from the CEO and leadership team.
• Make architectural choices and provide constructive feedback when necessary.
• Move quickly, deliver promptly, and iterate. Success is achieved through iteration rather than extensive upfront planning.
• Over 7 years of experience in building production software across both front-end and back-end, with a proven track record of shipping complex systems.
• More than 2 years of experience in developing products with Gen-AI.
• Expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern technology stacks (e.g., Next.js/React, Node/Nest/Express).
• Proficient in various data layers (Postgres/SQL, caches, vector stores).
• Experience with LLM-assisted development: You have significantly improved speed and quality using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, Copilot (or similar), and understand how to design prompts, decompose problems, enforce testing, and review AI outputs safely.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance protocols (authN/Z, RBAC/ABAC, auditing, data residency, secrets management, PII handling).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps (Vercel/AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD processes, IaC (Terraform/Pulumi), and monitoring/observability practices.
• Leadership experience: Demonstrated ability to mentor senior engineers, establish best practices, and elevate standards; excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Domain knowledge (nice-to-have): Experience in retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, or life sciences.
