Law School Admissions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with prospective law school candidates, assisting them in identifying ways to enhance their applicant profiles and create persuasive law school application documents.

• Cultivate relationships with applicants and their families while offering strategic and tactical advice on law school choices, personal statements, application essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews, and the overall admissions process for law schools.

• Determine the most suitable law schools and programs for each student; provide constructive feedback and guidance on law school research, admissions resources, and school selection in alignment with each student's unique background and aspirations.

• Aid students in project planning, managing application timelines, and tracking progress through internal organizational tools.

• Keep informed about the law school admissions landscape, emerging trends, and available programs to guide both prospective and current students on school selection and the intricacies of applying to law schools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Admissions Committee Experience: Must have participated on a law school admissions committee with experience in reviewing applications and making decisions regarding acceptance and rejection, offering valuable insights into the admissions process.

• Possess a JD from a T-14 U.S. law school.

• Experience in advising applicants to T-14 law schools.

• A strong enthusiasm for coaching.

• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.

• Proficient English reading, writing, and editing skills, especially pertaining to law school personal statements and application essays.

• Strong verbal communication capabilities.

• Proficiency in project management and applicant tracking.
