This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Cultivate and enhance strategic partnerships with law enforcement, particularly focusing on agencies within the State of Nevada, while supporting global outreach initiatives as required.
• Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement bodies, including the Nevada Attorney General’s Office.
• Organize and implement educational programs for law enforcement agencies and other key external stakeholders regarding Roblox’s safety initiatives, including our law enforcement response policies and NCMEC CyberTip programs.
• Proactively identify, monitor, analyze, and provide internal guidance on law enforcement developments that impact Roblox in the State of Nevada.
• Strive to understand and respond with empathy to regional law enforcement issues, while assisting in the internal codification and scaling of the insights gained.
• Develop a deep expertise in Roblox’s internal and external safety practices to identify, advocate for, and assist in the implementation of strategic safety improvements.
• Produce professional documentation for both internal and external audiences, backed by thorough, clear, and multi-sourced investigations related to platform safety.
• Collaborate and foster strong internal relationships across our Legal & Advocacy, Safety, Product, and Communications teams (among others) to effectively address law enforcement emergencies, platform safety escalations, and comprehensive Roblox initiatives.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in law enforcement, intelligence, government, trust and safety, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of the law enforcement community and relevant policymakers in the State of Nevada, as well as current trends and challenges in online safety and policy (particularly concerning child safety and region-specific issues).
• A passion for and proven history of excellent public speaking, adapting to short-notice travel, nurturing constructive relationships, defining personal work processes, and contributing organizational value regardless of task size.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty, resilience to tackle challenges, and a strong internal drive to manage multiple high-profile, time-sensitive projects within a dynamic setting.
