Lateral Conflicts Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess conflict information submitted by lateral candidates

• Recognize potential conflict issues and propose solutions

• Leverage databases to analyze conflicts of interest reports

• Aid in resolving potential conflicts for incoming portable work

• Provide guidance on required waivers

• Support the drafting of waivers and engagement letters

• Engage with department leadership on intricate conflict inquiries

• Keep precise records of conflict resolutions

⛳️ Requirements

• JD required

• Must be licensed to practice law

• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience

• Previous experience in law firms or corporate legal departments

• Experience in conflicts analysis is highly preferred but not mandatory

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

• Capable of collaborating effectively with firm personnel at all levels

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Negotiation and influencing capabilities

• Proficient legal research skills

• Familiarity with Intapp conflict checking and ethical wall software is a plus
