This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Utilize effective prospecting techniques and leverage networks within the designated territory to discover new project possibilities.
• Oversee the complete sales process, starting from prospect initiation, identifying and qualifying new opportunities to enrich the sales pipeline, developing proposals, and obtaining commercial commitments from clients.
• Formulate and deliver a business case for new ventures to the Ascential management team.
• Design, implement, and execute a strategic account territory plan to increase market share with existing clients and attract new customers in the Latin America Medical and Life Sciences sector.
• Clearly articulate the Ascential value proposition and capabilities, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Maintain consistent and timely communication with clients within the territory.
• Ensure that corrective measures are established and communicated to management or other key Ascential departments.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers through regular in-person customer interactions, understanding their needs, and providing continuous follow-up to identify and secure new opportunities.
• Regularly update opportunities and sales prospecting activities in Salesforce each week while ensuring data accuracy.
• 4-7 years of direct B2B sales experience within the Medical & Life Sciences industry.
• Demonstrated success in selling high-value, complex solutions.
• Exceptional prospecting abilities to uncover and develop new sales opportunities.
• Established network of contacts in the Medical and Life Sciences sector.
• Strong skills in sales call planning and execution, as well as sales opportunity development and management.
• Business insight to facilitate opportunity qualification based on customer business cases, ROI, budget, and strategic alignment.
• Preferred experience in selling manufacturing automation solutions.
• Proficient contract negotiation skills to secure opportunities while maximizing project margins.
