Language Alignment & Resource Partner, Canadian French – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Function independently to deliver linguistic QA and create alignment resources.

• Assessing, annotating, and evaluating AI outputs for grammatical precision, naturalness, and adherence to cultural context.

• Serving as the primary quality assurance during production to proactively spot and rectify subtle cultural inaccuracies or awkward wording in Canadian French.

• Evaluating trends in task quality and independently producing educational resources and feedback documentation to enhance the alignment between AI task outputs and campaign requirements.

• Offering native-level language assessment during project scaling and providing specialized linguistic advice throughout the production process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or academic experience in linguistics, education, or related fields that demand a high level of linguistic detail.

• Prior, relevant experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed proficiency in Canadian French at the C1 or C2 level.

• The capability to effectively transform raw feedback and quality trends into structured, actionable educational materials.

• A detail-oriented approach to language, with the acuity to identify and amend even the most subtle unnatural phrasing in their native language.
