This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of oversight for ALTA and zoning survey projects, ensuring precision, uniformity, and timely completion across various jurisdictions and stakeholders.
• Lead ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey and zoning projects at both single-site and multi-site levels from inception to conclusion.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, scope, and resource distribution across multiple concurrent assignments.
• Review and execute quality control on ALTA surveys and zoning reports nationwide, including those with intricate and multi-faceted title requirements.
• Interpret and apply requirements related to real estate transactions, zoning regulations, and survey standards across different jurisdictions.
• Coordinate field staff, internal teams, and external survey contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Assess staffing requirements and manage the distribution of workloads, including the utilization of part-time and contracted personnel.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to both project team members and field personnel.
• Conduct performance oversight, including coaching, providing feedback, and facilitating professional development.
• Track project health using financial and operational metrics (WIP, margins, production tracking, etc.).
• Identify potential risks to scope, schedule, budget, or contractual commitments and escalate as necessary.
• Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to internal leadership and clients.
• Assist in business development efforts by informing clients about ALTA and zoning due diligence services.
• Engage in process enhancement initiatives and support the creation of new service offerings.
• Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory mandates.
• Represent the organization in client-facing meetings, including kickoff calls, bid evaluations, and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Engineering, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in ALTA surveys, land surveying, zoning due diligence, or commercial real estate due diligence.
• Comprehensive understanding of ALTA/NSPS standards and survey deliverables.
• Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and project financials.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects across different geographic areas.
• Experience in coordinating both internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong communication skills in client-facing situations (both written and verbal).
• Ability to interpret technical survey data and zoning requirements and convert them into actionable directives.
• Proficient in project management tools and digital workflows.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) designation preferred.
