Land Acquisition Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist Regional and Divisional teams in evaluating land opportunities.

• Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, such as the MLS, company databases, Metrostudy, Land Vision, Zonda, and other external platforms.

• Support the Land Acquisition Team in compiling market study information.

• Review and assess due diligence data for prospective land assets.

• Aid in the creation of proformas, valuations, and underwriting for potential land investments.

• Monitor key date timelines for due diligence, takedowns, closings, and modifications within new and existing projects.

• Assist in the development of lot committee presentations and related documentation.

• Maintain accurate land files, spreadsheets, and databases to track land holdings.

• Leverage GIS, Google Earth, and additional resources to investigate potential land acquisition opportunities.

• Liaise with various departments, divisions, and regions regarding land positions and critical deadlines.

• Carry out other responsibilities as required or assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or Construction, or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2-3 years of experience in the construction sector or a comparable position.

• Experience in real estate or market research, along with professional knowledge of the residential construction and land brokerage industry, is strongly preferred.
