This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of LIS and LDX solutions.
• Collaborate with the Association of USAPI Laboratories (AUL) and engage in meetings.
• Coordinate with laboratory personnel and IT teams for the comprehensive implementation of LIS and LDX solutions.
• Tailor and integrate LIS platforms to align with workflows and quality assurance standards.
• Facilitate data migration, validation, and testing before the go-live phase.
• Ensure the performance of LIS and LDX, maintaining data integrity and security.
• Provide training for laboratory and IT staff on LIS usage, workflows, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in LIS and/or health data exchange implementation and administration.
• Proficient in networking, systems integration, and data interfacing (HL7, ASTM, FHIR, LOINC, API connections).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining LIS within clinical diagnostic laboratories.
• Strong understanding of laboratory testing workflows (hematology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, etc.).
• An IT background and previous experience in resource-limited or international health environments is highly preferred.
• Proficient in one or more LIS platforms (e.g., OpenELIS, SENAITE, HCLab).
