Labor Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the labor compliance team, ensuring adherence to labor regulations throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders from Operations and other SI Departments to oversee, manage, and enhance the Corporate Labor Compliance Program.

• Organize and conduct regular internal audits of labor compliance practices.

• Continuously monitor and keep updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact labor compliance policies and procedures.

• Identify and disseminate best control practices, including software solutions related to labor compliance, and recommend necessary updates for implementation.

• Oversee the investigation of detected or reported compliance issues in partnership with business leaders and relevant departments.

• Engage in third-party and government reviews, audits, and inquiries alongside applicable departments and external resources.

• Identify, design, and participate in essential training programs related to labor compliance initiatives.

• Attend external training sessions and actively engage in compliance organizations relevant to the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of experience in labor compliance within the construction sector.

• Comprehensive knowledge of labor-related laws.

• Familiarity with various construction industry contract types and terminology, especially in relation to labor compliance.

• Ability to understand government and other regulations and assess their applicability to the company's operations.

• Up-to-date knowledge of industry issues concerning labor compliance and their relevance to the sector.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
