Lab Manager – Surface Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee laboratory operations in the APAC region, ensuring equipment maintenance, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.

• Offer extensive application support to both distributors and customers.

• Implement sample testing procedures and provide meaningful insights through post-test results.

• Conduct product demonstrations and application training sessions, both remotely and on-site.

• Assess new measurement techniques and generate relevant reports.

• Collaborate on joint laboratory projects with partner labs located in Shanghai and Charlotte, under the coordination of headquarters labs in Hamburg.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a completed vocational training or a university degree in chemistry or a related discipline.

• Have practical laboratory experience along with a good understanding of common laboratory chemicals.

• Exhibit a structured, analytical, and innovative mindset complemented by a hands-on approach.

• Display a passion for laboratory work and developing experimental solutions for clients.

• Be proficient in MS Office applications.

• Demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

• Achieve business-fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
