Kotlin Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable microservices within the JVM ecosystem using Spring Boot as part of the Core Banking Development Team.

• Engage in an event-driven architecture based on domain-driven design and eventual consistency principles.

• Collaborate across various engineering teams to enhance and expand Salmon's core banking and partner platforms.

• Design and sustain dependable, scalable microservices.

• Create and maintain APIs and services that support core banking products.

• Contribute to internal SDKs and frameworks for shared services.

• Integrate with partner platforms and external services at scale.

• Assist in the development and scaling of banking and partner platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of software development experience in the JVM environment.

• Proficient in Java; knowledge of Kotlin is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot in a microservices context.

• Experience in an agile environment with continuous deployment and delivery.

• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and eventual consistency.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration in a cloud setting.

• Preference for Docker and Kubernetes.

• AWS experience is preferred.

• A collaborative attitude and a readiness to share knowledge within the team.

• Availability for core collaboration hours from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM Manila time (UTC+8).
