KOL Business Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Conduct research to identify and evaluate KOLs in your region based on three primary criteria: content quality, community influence, and output frequency.

• Create and maintain a well-structured database of regional KOLs with comprehensive profile assessments.

• Formulate regional KOL strategy documents and market analyses; share your findings and recommendations with the team.

• Keep track of social media discussions in your region; recognize emerging narratives, potential risks, and shifts in sentiment in real time.

• When instructed, quickly coordinate KOL responses during PR events, rumor cycles, or crisis situations.

• Tailor global brand narratives and storytelling approaches to effectively connect with the local market.

• Collaborate with the affiliate/referral team to prevent duplicate outreach and enhance shared KOL information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in influencer marketing, KOL management, PR, or community operations; experience in crypto/Web3 or fintech is highly preferred.

• Proficient in English with native fluency in at least one regional language (French/Spanish/Portuguese/Italian).

• Strong grasp of the regional crypto social media landscape, including key voices, relevant platforms, and the flow of discourse.

• Excellent editorial judgment — capable of assessing KOLs based on content quality and community trust rather than just follower counts.

• Comfortable during the research and strategy phase; skilled in building structured databases and producing concise written evaluations.

• Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to operate across time zones in a dynamic environment.
