This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Supervise daily kitchen activities, encompassing food preparation, cooking, and plating to consistently produce exceptional dishes.
• Inspire and guide a team of culinary experts, offering training and support to ensure peak performance and professional growth.
• Work closely with the management team to guarantee all products adhere to our high standards of taste and presentation.
• Track inventory levels, place supply orders, and manage food costs to achieve budgetary goals while minimizing waste and ensuring product freshness.
• Establish and uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to all pertinent regulations and promoting a secure working environment.
• Cultivate a positive and collaborative work atmosphere, fostering open communication and teamwork among all staff members.
• Demonstrated experience in hospitality or a comparable position, ideally within a high-volume restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Solid grasp of financial management concepts, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory oversight.
• Proficient communication skills to interact effectively with team members, the executive chef, and other departments.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
