This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Spearhead sustainable growth as the primary commercial leader within a regional, interdisciplinary account team.
• Formulate and implement short-, medium-, and long-term Key Account strategies that align with business and sustainability objectives.
• Cultivate customer relationships across engineering, procurement, operations, and executive leadership.
• Convert customer strategies and technological priorities into collaborative innovation roadmaps and a robust project pipeline.
• Foster new opportunities from initial specifications and qualifications through to customer approvals, commercialization, and revenue generation.
• Oversee annual sales planning, forecasting, and long-term growth strategies, including revenue and profitability goals.
• Enhance account sales mix to expedite growth and boost margins.
• Provide guidance, set priorities, and ensure accountability across interdisciplinary and regional account teams.
• Facilitate regular internal Key Account evaluations and present strategic plans to executive stakeholders.
• Negotiate and secure strategic commercial agreements as well as long-term customer partnerships.
• Champion account priorities in product development, innovation, supply chain, and investment decisions.
• Lead the resolution of critical account challenges, including supply chain disruptions, commercial issues, and cross-regional conflicts.
• Assume full responsibility for overall account performance, customer satisfaction, and the implementation of the strategic account plan.
• Proven experience in a commercial leadership role within a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with a focus on sustainability and business alignment.
• Excellent relationship-building capabilities with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex customer needs into actionable innovation strategies.
• Experience in managing sales processes from specification to revenue realization.
• Strong analytical skills for sales planning and forecasting.
• Competence in negotiating strategic agreements and fostering partnerships.
