This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +2 more states.
• The Key Account Manager for Oncology plays a crucial role in implementing Cosette’s commercial strategy for oncology within a designated geographic region.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with oncology healthcare providers, hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), outpatient and infusion centers, pharmacists, and other vital healthcare stakeholders to facilitate appropriate product adoption and meet territory performance goals.
• Oversee the territory through structured account planning, customer engagement, market analysis, and the execution of sanctioned brand strategies.
• Foster trusted relationships with customers, identify growth prospects, share compliant clinical and product information, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance access, product availability, and patient support initiatives.
• Meet or surpass territory sales targets and brand performance objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Formulate and implement territory business plans that focus on high-value accounts, growth opportunities, and customer needs.
• Evaluate territory data, market trends, prescribing behaviors, and competitive activities to pinpoint opportunities and modify strategies accordingly.
• Carry out compliant promotional initiatives and convey approved clinical, safety, and product information to healthcare professionals.
• Provide impactful product presentations tailored to the specific clinical and business requirements of individual stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of proven success in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty healthcare, or related sales experience with documented achievement against sales targets.
• Experience in managing complex healthcare accounts and cultivating relationships across various stakeholder groups.
• Background in selling specialty pharmaceutical products or managing account-based sales approaches.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare delivery systems and the commercialization of pharmaceuticals.
• Preferred experience in oncology, hematology, specialty pharmacy, or buy-and-bill practices.
• Experience selling to community oncology practices, academic medical centers, hospitals, or IDNs.
• Familiarity with supporting product launches, relaunches, brand integrations, or the commercialization of specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Established connections within oncology accounts or healthcare systems in the designated geography.
• Knowledge of specialty distribution models, medical benefit reimbursement, treatment pathways, protocols, and oncology practice workflows.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the capacity to travel as necessary, including occasional overnight travel.
