This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Strategic leader in Customer Development responsible for Direct Customer/Business Management within the assigned customer channel.
• This role involves managing accounts such as Sprouts, KeHe, Whole Foods, and others.
• Formulate and implement the vision and strategy to meet both long-term and short-term business goals.
• The leader will showcase their expertise and demonstrate a proven track record in developing joint business planning models for customers.
• Drive the execution of annual plans and processes across designated customers and bottlers.
• Required to deliver key business and financial metrics, including topline results (Revenue, volume, Share) and essential financial metrics (trade spend and T&E budgets).
• Collaborate with Senior Management and cross-functional team members to create Annual Plans that achieve both immediate and future business objectives.
• Lead annual negotiations to ensure a favorable partnership agreement that aligns with overall organizational priorities.
• Serve as a collaborative leader of a cross-functional team tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive customer selling narratives, while offering essential insights to meet all key execution metrics (Assortment, Shelving, Pricing, Merchandising, and Innovation).
• Manage ongoing account updates and performance reporting against key metrics, troubleshooting plan gaps and offering recommendations to achieve business objectives.
• Cultivate and utilize high-level external relationships at major accounts to enhance BODYARMOR's market positioning.
• Participate in all system routines as necessary (CCLT, Customer core Teams) to provide updates on customer performance and annual plan targets.
• Collaborate closely with Coca-Cola NAOU and Bottler Customer Leads (Directors/AE’s) to optimize mutual customer plans, results, and execution.
• Build and strengthen relationships with BODYARMOR teams and Bottlers to ensure alignment on key customer goals.
• Provide ongoing updates on customer plan outcomes and prospects to BODYARMOR management.
• Engage in key cross-functional routines to deliver ongoing plan updates and ensure the successful execution of customer programs and initiatives.
• Contribute customer feedback to annual plans, including all Marketing, Commercial, and Innovation strategies.
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in National Account Management is required.
• Proven experience in managing Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes is essential.
• Experience in cultivating strong collaborative strategic relationships with national retailers is required.
• Ability to analyze and utilize syndicated data for fact-based storytelling is essential.
• Proficient computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word are necessary.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data are required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time by plane and car.
• In-person attendance at bi-annual company retreats/meetings is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be capable of driving long distances.
• Motor Vehicle Records must comply with Company standards as per Driving Policy.
