This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• Lead the strategic advancement and sales expansion within the Data Center sector.
• Define a specific market region and implement targeted sales strategies for opportunities and accounts.
• Recognize opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and formulate comprehensive program plans utilizing the HellermannTyton product range.
• Propel revenue growth through significant market-specific accounts and opportunities.
• Specify HellermannTyton's wire management and identification solutions to enhance product integration with new clients and applications.
• Collaborate on cohesive strategies with fellow HellermannTyton sales representatives across the customer enterprise.
• Oversee, manage, and finalize multiple project opportunities across a diverse customer base.
• Create and implement market-oriented pricing strategies.
• Relay opportunity milestones and strategic adjustments to pertinent stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of marketing content as needed.
• Promote a collaborative team environment and lead through influence without direct reports.
• Directly close sales opportunities and present new prospects for local sales teams to nurture and finalize.
• Manage various activities to meet established timelines through disciplined time management.
• Serve as a change agent for enhancements in internal processes.
• Demonstrated ability to forge meaningful internal and external partnerships at all organizational levels.
• Capacity to contribute to strategic planning and execute customer strategic initiatives.
• Proven sales experience in specifying components with customers and employing a program/platform/model-year strategy to achieve sales.
• Knowledge of plastics, materials, plastic fasteners, wire management, and component labeling opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, marketing, finance, and other teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize relevant social media platforms and trade organizations to broaden business opportunities.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Data Center field within construction, design, engineering, procurement, or sales.
• Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, including the ability to interpret fundamental requirements and concepts.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and sufficient insurance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Background check required post-offer.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA or other advanced degree is an advantage.
• Electrician credentials are a plus.
• Experience with electrical harnessing, routing, or design is preferred.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels within a customer organization.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Travel opportunities up to 50% of the time.
• Exposure to strategic sales growth and customer development within the Data Center market.
