This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take ownership of net revenue retention and expansion objectives for a specific portfolio of strategic accounts, focusing on driving upselling, cross-selling, and multi-year renewals.
• Create and implement strategic account plans that align customer engineering initiatives, organizational frameworks, budget timelines, and purchasing centers with expansion opportunities.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and evolve single-team deployments into comprehensive enterprise agreements.
• Discover new use cases, departments, business units, and geographical areas within existing accounts for SimScale's platform and AI capabilities.
• Manage intricate, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles from start to finish, encompassing business case development, value engineering, procurement, legal considerations, and executive alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional account teams across Customer Success, Solution Engineering, and Marketing.
• Conduct executive business reviews that quantify the value delivered and create partnership roadmaps.
• A minimum of 7 years of quota-carrying B2B software sales experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in strategic/key account management or in roles focused on enterprise expansion.
• Proven history of consistently growing existing enterprise accounts, surpassing expansion/NRR targets, and securing six- to seven-figure agreements.
• Experience in selling software to engineering, manufacturing, or technical audiences.
• A background in CAE, simulation, CAD/PLM, or related engineering software is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in value-based and consultative selling methodologies, such as MEDDICC or Challenger.
• Familiarity with complex procurement processes.
• Executive presence with the capability to articulate business value from engineering to C-level executives.
• Fluent in English is required.
• Proficiency in German is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to customers across Europe, approximately 25% of the time.
• Based in Germany (preferred) or elsewhere in Europe.
