This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee essential employer relationships for the North Sea Jobs Service.
• Identify sustainable employment opportunities for NSJS workers.
• Ensure that service levels surpass stakeholder and employer expectations.
• Leverage employer relationships and insights into business and skills needs to align opportunities with training pathways.
• Secure appropriate vacancies and placement opportunities with employers.
• Represent Reed in Partnership at external meetings.
• Recognize and influence the design and strategy of employment initiatives and new opportunities.
• Drive new employer engagement initiatives and convert them successfully.
• Promote the complete NSJS offerings, including work placements and job vacancies.
• Maximize repeat business with key employers.
• Identify employer-led business opportunities within growth sectors.
• Ensure that NSJS provisions are responsive and driven by the needs of employers and workers.
• BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard).
• Proven experience in an account management or business development role.
• Demonstrated ability to work towards and achieve targets.
• A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
• GCSE English Language with at least a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification), OR successful completion of a Level 2 Literacy Assessment during the interview.
• Strong understanding of the national labor market.
• Familiarity with employment legislation governing recruitment practices.
• Good knowledge of partners and stakeholders.
• Analytical skills to utilize intelligence for maximizing business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Proficient networking skills.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Capability to build professional relationships successfully.
• Experience working in a performance-target-driven environment.
• Background in business-to-business sales.
• Experience in networking, recruitment, publicly funded services, or related sectors.
• Knowledge of the Clean Energy, Oil and Gas, and Industry Priority Sectors.
• Willingness to travel across the UK when necessary, including to Aberdeen.
