This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Identify, approach, and establish connections with dealerships for business development and portfolio enhancement.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients within a designated book of business.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communication to deliver effective solutions for client challenges.
• Cultivate and sustain competitive knowledge and proficiency regarding products, industry trends, and other relevant developments.
• Comprehend and respond to the competitive landscape.
• Record customer interactions and maintain precise CRM documentation.
• Adjust to shifting priorities and offer assistance in unforeseen circumstances.
• Address client requirements, including occasional travel within the assigned book of business.
• Spearhead acquisition initiatives, meet with key accounts, host regional conferences, and mentor best practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure accounts have the necessary tools and information to effectively utilize OPENLANE software.
• Foster robust and profitable relationships with key accounts, serving as a conduit to client success.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales or business development.
• Preferred 2-3+ years in a customer-centric, industry-specific, or account management role.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly express ideas and concepts.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
• Proven knowledge of CRM systems; experience with Salesforce and Pipedrive is strongly preferred.
• Capacity to blend sales expertise, interpersonal skills, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to or within the assigned region approximately 50% of the time each month.
