This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Instruct martial arts as part of the Karate Zoo enrichment initiative.
β’ Provide personalized attention to guarantee the success of each child.
β’ Create a fun atmosphere that fosters a stress-free learning environment.
β’ Implement positive reinforcement methods to promote children's advancement.
β’ Adhere to the guidelines set forth in the Karate Zoo Coaching Manual & Curriculum.
β’ Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
β’ Prior experience with children, whether professional or volunteer, is preferred, especially in coaching or teaching roles.
β’ A passion for sports and martial arts, along with a commitment to inspiring young children.
β’ Must be available to work flexible hours, mainly in the afternoons (3-5pm).
β’ Must have reliable transportation to commute to various locations.
β’ Capability to engage and connect positively with children.
β’ A clean background check is mandatory.
β’ CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
β’ Referral program offering coaches between $100 to $200 for each successful recommendation.
β’ A bonus of $200 for coaches holding specific degree belts (disbursed after 2-3 months of employment).
β’ Recognition through Coach of the Season and Coach of the Year awards.
