K-8 Spanish Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs in a virtual setting

• Engage regularly with learning coaches and students

• Assist in the organization and management of State Testing

• Participate in professional development regarding Title III compliance

• Manage grading responsibilities and conduct parent conferences

• Enhance the instructional program through web conferencing and synchronous teaching

• Evaluate curriculum and create alternative strategies to improve comprehension

• Maintain regular communication with parents and students

• Collaborate with school leadership teams

• Design alternative enrichment activities

• Organize social events and field trips for students

• Engage in student recruitment initiatives and marketing efforts

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the state of Alabama

• Properly certified to teach K-8 Spanish in Alabama

• Proficient in technology, particularly with Microsoft OS and MS Office applications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Customer-focused mindset

• High level of adaptability

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Track record of being a collaborative team player

• Willingness to occasionally travel for school-related meetings, training, marketing, and state testing events (may involve some overnight travel)

• Capability to work remotely when required

• Availability for occasional evening hours, as needed to assist some families

• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and have an email address for two-step authentication.
