Junior Trial Attorney – Must Reside in California

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Advocate for clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.

• Formulate case strategies and deliver arguments to judges and juries.

• Perform legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Conduct witness interviews, collect evidence, and prepare for court trials.

• Negotiate settlements and plea agreements as deemed appropriate.

• Offer legal counsel and guidance to clients regarding litigation issues.

• Collaborate effectively with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators.

• Keep informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents.

• Oversee and mentor junior attorneys and support personnel.

• Review and interpret complex employment law documents and contracts.

• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.

• Engage in client development and initiatives for business growth.

• Maintain comprehensive case files and documentation.

• Create and implement litigation budgets.

• Coordinate efforts with expert witnesses and consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.

• Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction(s).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation.

• Preferably, the candidate should have trial experience.

• Strong familiarity with procedural rules, such as Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
