This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop and create compliant Temporary Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), drawings, and supporting documentation in line with NZTA CoPTTM, NZGTTM, local authority regulations, and the current New Zealand traffic management legislation utilizing RapidPlan, myTTM, and other industry-standard tools.
• Oversee the complete TMP workflow from job initiation to submission, including interpreting job briefings, crafting site-specific plans, submitting applications through council portals (including MyWorkSites when applicable), and monitoring revisions, RFIs, and resubmissions.
• Provide practical, safe, and high-quality traffic management solutions that ensure the safety of road users, workers, and the public while minimizing disruption and adhering to authority, contractor, and client approval requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, supervisors, field personnel, clients, and operational divisions (including civil works and tree services) to clarify requirements, address compliance and design queries, and ensure plans are executable on-site.
• Manage a substantial workload of approximately 15–20 TMP applications weekly, balancing both small and large projects while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Implement internal risk assessment and profiling processes, maintain a strong understanding of NZTA CoPTTM, NZGTTM, local authority traffic management requirements, and safety regulations, and remain updated on changes to legislation, systems, and industry practices.
• Foster continuous improvement by assisting with onboarding and training for new systems and compliance requirements, contributing to workflow and template enhancements, and offering guidance to junior team members as needed.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Design, Traffic/Transport Planning, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in New Zealand traffic management planning, with a solid understanding of NZTA CoPTTM, NZGTTM, local authority requirements, and practical TMP application.
• Proficiency in RapidPlan is required; experience with myTTM, MyWorkSites, and other traffic management design, measurement, or digital workflow platforms is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads (15–20+ TMP applications weekly) while upholding accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
• Strong comprehension of traffic management risk assessment, risk profiling, and safety requirements, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing technical documentation and liaising with councils, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications, with the capability to work collaboratively, adapt to new systems and compliance frameworks, and effectively contribute within a team.
