• Conduct both primary and secondary research on topics related to freight decarbonization, focusing on key operational freight parameters, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and the dynamics of the trucking ecosystem.
• Analyze freight corridors to pinpoint high-potential regions and applications for electric vehicle (EV) adoption.
• Collaborate closely with academic institutions to develop a technical framework for emission accounting.
• Compile and synthesize insights from stakeholder consultations, field visits, and partner data into organized reports.
• Collaborate with global teams to customize the TCO tool specifically for Indonesia.
• Investigate and compare various TCO and financing models for the adoption of Zero Emission Technologies (ZETs).
• Aid in the development and maintenance of the Sustainable Freight Corridor (SFC) inventory, which encompasses operational challenges, emerging opportunities, key freight routes, and flow patterns.
• Support efforts to scale the methodology for freight emissions accounting, including data cleaning, gap analysis, and validation.
• Produce quarterly technical reports that capture insights, progress, and readiness for Emissions Accounting & ISO/GLEC adoption.
• Evaluate data availability and assist in creating local emission intensity pathways.
• Ensure conformity with global methodologies and reporting standards.
• Identify potential opportunities for tool accreditation and facilitate training programs for corporations.
• Collaborate with key institutions and partners for policy advocacy concerning emissions accounting.
• Participate in relevant technical events and webinars focused on freight electrification and decarbonization.
• Engage with global SFC members in Indonesia to discover additional opportunities for training and both GLEC adoption and freight electrification assessment.
• Prepare concise summaries of learnings and insights for internal use and team knowledge enhancement.
• Assist in the development of technical papers regarding emissions accounting, ZET adoption, and more for Indonesia.
• Contribute to the delivery of workshops centered on freight electrification and emissions accounting.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange between global experts and local partners.
• Demonstrated interest in transportation, logistics, or sustainability, particularly in the area of freight decarbonization.
• Fundamental understanding of research methodologies (e.g., literature reviews, online research, interviews).
• Capability to gather and organize information from various sources and present findings succinctly.
• Understanding of the policy landscape related to EV adoption.
• Willingness to expand knowledge on topics such as EV adoption, charging infrastructure, and emission accounting.
• Some experience or keen interest in data-driven projects, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis or freight routing.
• Proficiency with Excel functions and experience working with spreadsheets or structured data.
• Ability to compile and format information into straightforward reports, tables, or presentations.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on enhancing data accuracy and organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in English.
• Comfortable interacting with team members and external partners (academia, NGOs, or industry) under supervision.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback.
• Capable of managing time and tasks responsibly with team support.
