Junior Team Lead – AV, EMEA market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning and execution of AV/ADAS testing initiatives, including the management of timelines, resource distribution, and reporting mechanisms.

• Oversee and mentor small field and testing teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, testing protocols, and project deadlines.

• Leverage knowledge of the local market, infrastructure, and regulations to aid in site selection and enhance testing operations.

• Monitor the quality of testing and data precision, resolve operational challenges, and escalate issues to senior management as necessary.

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, safety, operations, project management) to ensure fieldwork aligns with project goals.

• Participate in training sessions for test operators and field personnel, offering insights to enhance performance and safety adherence.

• Compile status reports, safety logs, and project documentation for management and regulatory purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, automotive testing, field operations, or team leadership roles.

• Strong comprehension of local traffic laws, safety protocols, and infrastructure pertinent to AV/ADAS testing.

• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

• Capacity to juggle multiple tasks and effectively manage small teams under tight timelines.

• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with test management or data collection tools is an advantage.
