This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee and deliver technical SEO tasks within our project management platform, collaborating with IT and development teams.

• Implement schema markup, structured data, and rich results (Product, Review, Organization, Breadcrumb, FAQ).

• Correct hreflang issues, conduct international SEO debugging, and ensure consistency across ccTLDs and subdomains.

• Maintain sitemap, canonical tags, robots.txt, and indexation hygiene for all market versions.

• Execute tactical enhancements for Core Web Vitals (image optimization, lazy loading, and addressing render-blocking resources).

• Conduct JavaScript rendering checks that impact the indexation of product and category pages.

• Manage redirect mapping and perform post-launch quality assurance for migrations and category alterations.

• Implement on-page SEO for 30+ country-specific sites, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.

• Update and optimize existing content by refreshing underperforming pages, enhancing depth, and addressing on-page gaps.

• Conduct keyword research and mapping, building and maintaining keyword portfolios while performing competitor gap analysis.

• Provide content briefing support to the content team.

• Perform localization quality assurance on SEO elements across translations.

• Support our AI search visibility through structured data and schema that assist LLMs and AI search in parsing our pages.

• Monitor visibility in SGE, AI Overviews, and LLM-driven searches, identifying where we are cited or lacking.

• Assist in adapting on-page content and structured data to enhance our brand's appearance in AI-generated responses.

• Execute consistent outreach campaigns to acquire quality backlinks and brand mentions.

• Regularly monitor Google Search Console to identify crawl errors, indexation drops, and ranking challenges.

• Report on successful strategies in a clear and concise manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of practical SEO experience, preferably in an e-commerce or agency setting, covering technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.

• Proficient in Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Semrush.

• Strong skills in keyword research and on-page optimization.

• Knowledge of AI search (SGE, AI Overviews, LLM citations) and the role of structured data in supporting it.

• Experience with multi-region and multi-language websites is highly advantageous (hreflang, ccTLDs, subdomains).

• Comfortable managing tasks in Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.

• Dependable, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Self-driven remote worker with a reliable internet connection.

• Bonus: Experience with WordPress/Elementor, Shopify, or custom CMS; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON-LD schema, regex, product feeds, and Merchant Center.
