This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Oversee and manage technical SEO tickets within our project management platform, collaborating closely with IT and development teams.
• Implement schema markup, structured data, and rich results including Product, Review, Organization, Breadcrumb, and FAQ.
• Correct hreflang tags, debug international SEO issues, and ensure consistency in ccTLD and subdomains.
• Maintain the hygiene of sitemaps, canonical tags, robots.txt, and indexation across all market versions.
• Execute tactical enhancements for Core Web Vitals, focusing on image optimization, lazy loading, and minimizing render-blocking resources.
• Conduct JavaScript rendering checks that impact the indexation of product and category pages.
• Develop redirect mapping and perform post-launch quality assurance for migrations and category modifications.
• Apply on-page SEO strategies across more than 30 country-specific sites, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
• Revise and enhance existing content: update underperforming pages, deepen content quality, and rectify on-page gaps.
• Conduct keyword research and mapping: build and manage keyword portfolios while performing competitor gap analysis.
• Provide content briefing support to the content team.
• Perform localization quality assurance on SEO components across translations.
• Assist in improving our AI search visibility through structured data and schema that aid LLMs and AI search in parsing our pages.
• Monitor our visibility in SGE, AI Overviews, and LLM-driven searches, highlighting instances where we are cited or missing.
• Help adapt on-page content and structured data to ensure our brand appears in AI-generated responses.
• Execute consistent outreach campaigns to acquire quality backlinks and enhance brand mentions.
• Conduct daily monitoring of Google Search Console to identify crawl errors, indexation declines, and ranking challenges.
• Provide clear and concise reports on successful strategies without unnecessary details.
• 2-3 years of direct SEO experience, preferably in an e-commerce or agency setting, encompassing technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
• Strong proficiency in Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Semrush.
• Solid skills in keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Understanding of AI search concepts (SGE, AI Overviews, LLM citation) and the role of structured data in enhancing it.
• Experience with multi-region and multi-language websites is a significant advantage (including hreflang, ccTLDs, and subdomains).
• Ability to handle tickets in Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
• Dependable, organized, and consistently meets deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
• Self-driven remote worker with a reliable internet connection.
• Bonus: Familiarity with WordPress/Elementor, Shopify, or custom CMS; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON-LD schema, regex, and experience with product feeds and Merchant Center.
