This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.
• Oversee and deliver technical SEO tickets within our project management platform, collaborating with IT and development teams.
• Implementation of schema markup, structured data, and rich results (Product, Review, Organization, Breadcrumb, FAQ).
• Conduct hreflang corrections, debug international SEO, and ensure consistency in ccTLDs and subdomains.
• Maintain sitemap, canonical tags, robots.txt, and indexation hygiene across all market versions.
• Execute tactical enhancements for Core Web Vitals (image optimization, lazy loading, and managing render-blocking resources).
• Perform JavaScript rendering checks impacting the indexation of product and category pages.
• Manage redirect mapping and conduct post-launch quality assurance for migrations and category changes.
• Implement on-page SEO strategies across more than 30 country-specific sites, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
• Revise and refine existing content: update underperforming pages, enhance content depth, and address on-page gaps.
• Conduct keyword research and mapping: develop and maintain keyword portfolios, including competitor gap analysis.
• Provide content briefing support to the content team.
• Perform localization quality assurance on SEO elements across translations.
• Assist in enhancing our AI search visibility through structured data and schema that facilitate LLMs and AI search in parsing our pages.
• Monitor visibility in SGE, AI Overviews, and LLM-driven searches, and identify where we are either cited or lacking.
• Help adapt on-page content and structured data to ensure our brand appears in AI-generated responses.
• Execute consistent outreach campaigns to acquire quality backlinks and brand mentions.
• Conduct daily monitoring of Google Search Console: identify crawl errors, indexation declines, and ranking problems.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on effective strategies, avoiding unnecessary complexity.
• 2-3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an e-commerce or agency setting, covering technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
• Proficient in Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or Semrush.
• Strong skills in keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Understanding of AI search (SGE, AI Overviews, LLM citation) and the role of structured data in supporting it.
• Experience with multi-region and multi-language websites is a significant advantage (hreflang, ccTLDs, subdomains).
• Comfortable working with tickets in Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
• Dependable, organized, and consistently meets deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Self-motivated remote worker with a reliable internet connection.
• Bonus: Experience with WordPress/Elementor, Shopify, or custom CMS; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON-LD schema, regex, and exposure to product feed and Merchant Center.
