Junior Security Assessment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to evaluate, document, and convey security risks along with mitigation strategies.

• Conduct scanning procedures necessary for thorough security assessments, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and other international regulatory standards.

• Deliver clear and actionable suggestions to enhance security posture based on assessment outcomes, industry best practices, and compliance mandates.

• Assist in the creation and ongoing improvement of security assessment methodologies and documentation.

• Examine and validate security controls across various cloud providers, including OpenStack, with AWS, Azure, and GCP also being acceptable.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Proficiency in Bash.

• Proficiency in AWS.

• Proficiency in Azure.

• Proficiency in GCP.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in Terraform.

• Proficiency in Ansible.

• Proficiency in CI/CD.

• Experience with third-party audits.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices.

• Familiarity with application security testing.
