Junior Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Acquire and implement a structured methodology for composing a research paper in a designated researchable domain.

• Enhance skills in research, analytical writing, and policy formulation.

• Perform literature reviews and conduct policy analysis.

• Prepare detailed research notes.

• Draft a research paper, policy brief, or analytical report under supervision.

• Tackle significant policy issues and suggest innovative solutions.

• Collaborate with seasoned researchers and mentors.

• Utilize data-driven methods to create policy recommendations.

• Contribute research outcomes to scholarly and policy-focused publications.

• Choose one researchable area for the study.

• Complete a four-week training program on methodology followed by a four-week phase dedicated to research writing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral program at a recognized university.

• Candidates from all academic fields are encouraged to apply.

• A genuine interest in policy research, human rights, governance, law, or similar fields.

• Proficient in written English.

• Capability to work independently in a virtual or remote setting.

• Ability to meet specified deadlines.

• Openness to following research methodologies and supervisor input.

• Previous experience in writing research papers is not necessary.

• Experience in publishing research is not a requirement.

• Professionals from all sectors, whether currently employed or not, are welcome to apply.
