This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Acquire and implement the institute's established methodology for composing a research paper in an approved research area.
• Enhance skills in research, analytical writing, and policy drafting.
• Perform literature reviews and analyze policies.
• Create research notes.
• Compose a supervised research paper, policy brief, or analytical report.
• Tackle significant policy challenges and suggest innovative solutions.
• Work alongside seasoned researchers and mentors.
• Utilize data-driven methods to develop policy recommendations.
• Contribute research outcomes to academic and policy-focused publications.
• Complete a four-week training phase on methodology followed by a four-week phase dedicated to research writing.
• Currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral program at a recognized university.
• Candidates from all academic fields are welcome to apply.
• Proficient written English.
• A keen interest in policy research, human rights, governance, law, or related disciplines.
• Capability to work autonomously in a remote/virtual setting.
• Ability to adhere to specified deadlines.
• Openness to following research methodology and accepting supervisor feedback.
• Previous research publication experience is not required.
