Junior Quality Engineer – Manual QA, Software Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing based on established specifications

• Carry out functional and regression testing

• Detect, log, and report bugs in a clear and concise manner

• Monitor the defect lifecycle until it is resolved

• Aid in the creation and upkeep of test cases, scenarios, and scripts

• Record test results, evidence, and outcomes

• Adhere to processes and standards set by the QA team

• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts

• Work collaboratively with development and QA teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of software testing principles

• Familiarity with manual, functional, and regression testing methods

• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience with test cases, scenarios, and test scripts

• About 1 year of experience in QA/Testing

• Basic knowledge of test management tools (such as TestLink, Zephyr, or similar)

• Experience with bug tracking tools (such as Jira, Trello, or similar)

• Basic understanding of test automation

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
