Junior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conducting tests for new features, product improvements, and fixes related to the Allego platform and its associated products.

• Participating in the Agile development process, from sprint initiation to bug reporting.

• Actively engaging in team standups, refinement sessions, estimations, and retrospectives.

• Developing well-organized test cases that cover specifications and ensure high-quality results.

• Generating and maintaining manual testware to support automation initiatives.

• Clearly and concisely raising and reporting quality issues.

• Collaborating with Development and Product teams to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of bugs.

• Executing and maintaining regression testing packs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of Quality Assurance experience, ideally in a SaaS environment.

• Proficient in creating and managing all testing documentation (test cases, test cycles, test data).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (such as SCRUM and Kanban).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience with Jira, Test Management Systems, and Google Workspace.

• Preference for experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.

• Understanding of security best practices for SaaS platforms is a plus.

• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or MS Dynamics is advantageous.

• Knowledge of automation tools such as Jenkins, WebdriverIO, or BrowserStack is beneficial but not mandatory.

• A proactive approach and confidence to propose enhancements that improve testing efficacy.

• ISTQB foundation level certification is desirable but not required; support for obtaining it can be provided!
