Junior QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work closely with designers and developers during reviews to offer early insights on usability, layout, and interaction design

• Carry out comprehensive manual and automated UI/UX testing of Ruby on Rails applications on both desktop and mobile platforms

• Conduct exploratory, regression, and cross-browser testing to confirm dynamic interfaces, real-time updates, and user interactions under different conditions

• Identify and document issues with precise reproduction steps, screenshots, console logs, and session recordings

• Perform performance-oriented UX testing, ensuring efficient data loading, error management, and user feedback during slow or unsuccessful backend responses

• Continuously enhance test coverage, tools, and processes to facilitate swift Rails feature delivery while maintaining high quality

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree is required

• A bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred

• Equivalent education or experience in the computer science sector is acceptable

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a SaaS QA role is necessary

• Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written

• Familiarity with UI/UX testing principles

• Basic understanding of Rails, AWS, and Kubernetes

• Strong skills in bug reporting and communication

• Experience with Git or Mercurial, GitHub Actions/GitLab Pipelines, and CI/CD tools

• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States
