Junior Python Developer – AI & Innovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop clean, testable, and efficient Python code to enhance our core AI products and automated search and apply tools.

• Work closely with our Data Scientists to incorporate machine learning models, LLM pipelines, and agentic frameworks into our live production environment.

• Create and sustain scalable APIs and data workflows to manage significant volumes of job vacancy data.

• Assist in managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and seamless deployment processes.

• Produce robust unit and integration tests to guarantee system reliability and reduce deployment risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience with Python.

• Fully remote position (candidates must reside within a 2-hour timezone of London and be available during standard UK business hours).

• This role is structured as a long-term contractor agreement for international remote compliance. Applicants must have the legal right to work remotely as an independent contractor in their country of residence. We cannot provide visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future.

• Proficient in English (both written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with a global team.

• A technical degree (2:1 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals and object-oriented programming.

• Proven experience in writing clean, maintainable Python code in live, user-facing environments.

• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Familiarity with AWS services and Git version control.

• A curious, proactive fast learner who enjoys solving technical challenges and is passionate about the AI/ML domain.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with HTML, CSS (Tailwind), and React to assist in developing fullstack user interfaces.

• Experience with deploying LLMs in production applications and effectively utilizing LLM coding tools in your daily work.

• Knowledge of web scraping techniques, DOM parsing, and circumventing common bot-detection methods. Experience with browser automation and testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
